Dr. Prakash Zambad is the founder president of ‘HIMPUM’ one of the well known Homoeopathic organization in India. He is putting his great efforts for the development and publicity of homoeopathy since last 25 yrs by various directions. He has huge experience of 37 yrs of working in Homoeopathic Medical Field.
He was the vice-president of Maharashtra Homoeopathic Council. He is well known personality in between practitioners as well students of homoeopathy in Maharashtra.
He has a great experience so he is looking after the hospital as well as college as Medical Director brilliantly.
D.K.M.M. Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital has functional Out Patient and Indoor Patient Departments. The growth of the departments is reflected by the phenomenal rise in patients’ attendance in O.P.D. A wide variety of medical and health care facilities are available in the O.P.D., viz. Medical, Surgical, Gynaecological, Skin, ENT, Eye, Physiotherapy, etc. where large number of patients are treated. All services and medicines are provided to the public free of cost.
The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic equipments like 500mA X-Ray plant, ultrasonography machine, E.C.G. machines, Cardiac monitor, Spriometer, Audiometer, Autorefractometer, Slit-lamp, Synaptophore and a well-equipped biochemistry and pathology laboratory. Almost all the medicines prescribed by the doctors are available at the dispensary counter free of cost. The outdoor and indoor patient departments are managed by team of efficient doctors, registrars, house physicians, interns, nursing staff and paramedical personnel. Indoor Patient Department has 50 beds with separate male and female wards where doctors are available round the clock. The O.P.D. and I.P.D. facilities are also utilized for the clinical training of students and interns.
There are 12 different departments at D.K.M.M. Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital. These departments follow the CCH prescribed curriculum and work together in imparting education to the students. Each department has well developed laboratories.
Operation Theater is well equipped , Glazed tiles floor. Which included space and provision for the demonstration of operation to the students through vide camera and attached T. V. Highly qualified surgeon, E.N.T. Surgeon & Ophthalmic Surgeon is attached with hospital. All types of major and minor surgery perform in the Operation Theater.
At present Gynic & Obst. Operation we perform in the surgery Operation Theater. The specialized Gynic Operation Theater and Labour room.
Well equipped two pathology laboratory working for the hospital (1) D.K.M.M. Homoeopathic Medical College campus (2) D.K.M.M. Homoeopathic Medical College and P.G. Research Centre – Hospital at Garkheda All types of investigation and Bio-chemistry Hematology investigation perform in this pathology Lab. Semi – Analyser is available.
Institute has its own Ambulance .
Institute has started one Mobile Unit with separate vehicle MH-20 F-9826. One special Homoeopathic doctor is appointed with two other staff. In every week mobile unit covered 4 village or slum in a week. Every time 4 internees & 4 students accompany with the incharge doctor. Every month 3000 to 4000 patients take the advantage of this mobile unit.
Management has provide facilities for the free food and break fast to the needy and poor patients.

The College Management before 10 years has taken the one tenement on rental basis. This is the special OPD and IPD for the P.G. students clinical training in all seven specialty subject. It has research laboratory and necessary other equipments as required for OPD and IPD. It is counted as 3rd Unit of attached Hospitals . The College Management in the year 2005 has purchased land admeasuring 10000 Sq. Ft. and constructed new Hospital.
This block of IPD & OPD provides clinical training to 20 UG and 18 PG students Management has also provided facility of Hostel near by to this hospital. Management trying to establish centre of excellence in the Rheumatic and Diabetic disorder with the help of AYUSH Department Grant-in-Aid.
It is the own building of the College Management and it is located on Bi-Bi-Ka Maqbara road. It is Primary Health Care Unit having the arrangement of casualty and also patients are being treated by Homoeopathic Medicine. In this OPD P.G. students conduct Health Checkup camp which help them for their Research work.
Clinical Training and Research Work : D.K.M.M. Homoeopathic Management provided very good infrastructure in OPD IPD for to provide clinical material . In IPD and OPD provides near about 250 to 275 daily patients for UG & PG students for clinical experience. D.K.M.M. Homoeopathic Medical College Management also established R & D Department. Through this Department college has undertaken manage clinical trails , drugs proving, special funding provided by Management for this Department . D.K.M.M. College who provides maximum clinical material of gives very proper clinical training to the UG & PG students.
